PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: ONLINE WORKSHOP

From 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm

Origami is an art of Paper folding and many shapes can be folded from a square sheet of paper. It’s more fun to discover an angle, discover the relationship between numbers, all inside an Origami model made from paper and learn mathematical facts, without a scale, a protractor or a compass or a divider. The session is for teachers of Mathematics and also for origami enthusiasts.

The session will focus on:

  • Hexahedron, tetrahedron, rocket angles, Geometrical Interpretation of ( a + b )2, ( a + b + c ) 2.
  • Origami Models: paper protractor, cuboid, quadrilaterals, pentagon, hexagon, octagon.
