Mrs. Rashmi Iyengar

Ms. Rashmi has a Bachelor's Degree in science. She holds certified Post-Graduation Diploma in International Montessori and Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) certification. She is a certified “Jolly Phonics Trainer”, “Reggio Emilia Approach” under the guidance of Ms. Ronit Ben -Shir and Certified Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL).

Ms. Rashmi Iyengar is an experienced pre-primary education professional with over 14 years of dedicated service in India and abroad. From teaching to leadership roles, her focus on Pre-Primary age groups has led to the development of impactful Active Learning programmes.

Through collaboration and diverse experiences in NGOs, government initiatives, and both private and public sector schools, Ms. Rashmi consistently makes a positive impact, transcending organizational boundaries.

AT ACT, Ms. Rashmi heads the pre-primary wing in training, curriculum development and school audit. She is responsible for teacher training, academic handholding of the pre-primary section of all ACT-Schools. She has designed customized teacher training programs for in-service and pre-service teachers. At the outset, ACT’s Finishing School for Teachers was for pre-service primary and secondary teachers. Ms. Rashmi designed an online course of the same programme for the pre-primary teachers as well to help them become creative, ethical, and passionate teachers. Now, the aspiring pre-primary teachers are benefitting from this programme too.

Ms. Rashmi grabbed the “The Best Curriculum Lead” award and “The best Academic Manager” award twice by a renowned preschool “Klay and Prep schools” in India and by “Rajagiri Public School” in Qatar. She’s recognized as the 'Best Curriculum Lead' for Pan India.
