Ms. Himabindu is a dynamic and results-oriented educator with over 24 years of experience in teaching Social Studies, developing curriculum, managing staff, and improving student engagement and academic performance. She has a proven track record of enhancing the educational environment through innovative strategies and leadership. Holding dual master’s degrees in economics (MA) and Geography (MA), as well as a master’s in education (M.Ed.), Ms. Himabindu is eager to foster excellence in teaching and student success. In this journey, she has attended the Wipro Applying Thought training, TTF and Pedagogy for effective use of ICT for School teachers from IIT, Bombay. These training initiatives was to help improve the quality of education and introduce activity-based teaching skills to students.

As a senior coordinator & HOD, she has played a pivotal role in the development, review, and implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements. Her effective curriculum planning and assessment strategies led 20% of her students to secure perfect scores in Social Studies on the CBSE Grade-X exams and she consistently achieved a class average of over 90% in CBSE board exams for consecutive years. As an assistant head examiner (AHE) for CBSE evaluations, she has contributed for accurate and improvement in the quality of evaluation.
