
Ms. Supriya Hoskeri Dyaberi
Ms. Supriya is an experienced and passionate education professional with over 15 years of service in India and abroad. She has a master's degree in educational leadership from Santa Clara University, California, USA. Her thesis was in ‘Effective Components of Teacher Training’.
She has a deep understanding of teacher training models both in India and the USA as she dedicated her time to study the effective teacher training models of various states in the USA. She specializes in teacher training, content development, and school improvement with a focus on Positive Behaviour Management, mental health and inclusive education. Supriya has trained thousands of teachers in India and across the globe till date.
Ms. Supriya headed an integral project that worked on empowering teachers’ professional skills and improving school in the slums of Mumbai, India. She also was the course coordinator and instructor for TEACH-NOW, America’s teacher certification programme for educators in India and abroad. She successfully ran three batches of the Teach-Now programme, and her students were placed in American International schools across the world including Spain, Brazil, United States of America etc.
She was a member of a team that developed the ‘Character Education’ curriculum for the Department of Education, California USA. As a student, she was also selected to work in the world's highly ranked ‘Markkula Centre for Ethics’ and has engaged in the dialogues of ‘Ethics in Education’ with the world leaders. Supriya has also worked as a lecturer at a well-known MBA institute teaching Business Communication, Advertising and Entrepreneurship. She was awarded the Best Faculty for her innovative teaching practices. She ran an incubation center to develop entrepreneurial skills in students
Ms. Supriya is one of India's earliest certified Mindfulness practitioners and has been working on implementing mindfulness practices across schools in India. She is a certified POCSO trainer.
As the Programme Director of ‘Finishing School for Teachers’ at ACT, she has revamped the programme to better suit the challenging needs of the pre-service and new teachers. She brings her vast and varied experience of 15 plus years to ACT in developing new age and relevant training modules for educators and school leaders.
