ACT in collaboration with National Institute of Early Care and Education-NIECE will be launching its premier programme “Certificate Course in Early Childhood Care and Education-(CCECCE)” and Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)” a dual certificate programme is designed for teachers working with children in the age group of 3 – 8 years. The duration of the programme will be 06 months. The course will commence from February 2025.

The aim of the programme is to build professional skills, knowledge and competencies of teachers to craft a happy and creative classroom. The programme will transform the teachers into a sensitive, passionate and creative teacher ready for today’s classroom.

The objective of the programme is to

• Providing foundational knowledge of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children from birth to eight years.
• Equipping teachers with the Creative Teaching Model of teaching and learning.
• Designing strategies to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Teaching foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, essential for school readiness among young minds.
• Discussing ways to promote Inclusive Education to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities or other special needs.
• Emphasizing the ways of promoting health, nutrition, and safety in early childhood settings to ensure well-rounded development.
• Fostering effective partnerships with parents and the community to enhance the educational experience of young children.
