Dr. Savitha is an educational thought leader, dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate having over 3 decades of experience as teacher, lecturer, Principal and Director of schools in Bengaluru and Mysuru. Dr. Savitha has obtained her Honorary Doctorate in Primary Education. A Gold Medalist in B.Ed., University topper in M.Ed., Mysore and Master’s in History. A CBSE certified trainer and passionate researcher. A multifaceted person who is innovative and early adapter having set up more than 5 CBSE schools. Having expertise in policy development, branding and marketing, conflict resolution, public speaking and strategic institutional planning. Before Joining ACT, Dr. Savitha headed Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Mysuru as Director and was instrumental in setting up academic of 2 CBSE schools for the year 2022 – 2023. She is the founder Principal of Kautilya Vidyalaya & Secretary of Kautilya Group of Institutions for more than 15 years. Accomplishments: Savitha is appointed by DSERT (Department of State Educational Research and Training), Karnataka, as the Chairperson of the committee that worked on developing the position paper on FOUNDATIONAL LITERACY AND NUMERACY AND ECCE for implementation of NEP. Was selected as the member of Vision team by the Department of Education, Govt of Karnataka for developing a plan for school education for Karnataka for 2025. Conducted series of webinars on NEP for the Ministry of Information and Broadcast, Govt of India and a listed expert speaker for Manodarpan (Educational Program) conducted periodically by NCERT. As the Principal she bagged the International School Award from British Council for two terms of three years each, consecutively. Her school bagged the National Award in the Earthen Project conducted by Wipro for sustainability. She has travelled more than 20 countries and studied various curricula and strategies and implemented the same in her client schools. During the Pandemic, she founded LITTLE SKY, the virtual school for foundation program and successfully provided quality education to young learners below the age of 8 years. She was awarded the most coveted DR ABDUL KALAM AWARD by Avantika Group for her contribution to the field of Education.
